SCHOLARSHIPS
The College Women's Club of Montclair (CWCM) awards scholarships of varying amounts to young women who are seniors at local public high schools. We generally award between $35,000 and $45,000 to approximately 20 students each year.
In 2024, we awarded $44,000 to 19 students at four of the high schools that represent our membership: Montclair High School ($15,000), Cedar Grove High School ($13,000), Glen Ridge High School ($15,000), and Verona High School ($6,000).
Candidates submit their application through their school's guidance counselor and are interviewed by the CWCM Scholarship Committee. We encourage high school senior girls from Montclair, Verona, Cedar Grove, and Glen Ridge public high schools to speak with their guidance counselor to obtain an application.
